WellCentive to Build the West Michigan Physician Performance Database

WellCentive was chosen to build the West Michigan Physician Performance Measurement Database (WMPMD) for Health Care Vision 2020 (HCV 2020), a Grand Rapids based Robert Wood Johnson Foundation supported Aligning Forces for Quality initiative. The HCV 2020 WMPMD was designed to capture data for approximately a million patients and report on the performance of about 500 primary care providers in 13 counties in West Michigan.

WellCentive participated in the January 31, 2008 Kick Off meeting for this project, which was held at the Steelcase, Inc. world headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Various stakeholders from West Michigan, including employers, payers, hospital systems, physician organizations, the Michigan Department of Health, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the NCQA, and others were in attendance.

WellCentive will provide a regional patient registry and outcomes reporting system as well as medical interfacing and data aggregation services for the HCV 2020 project.

WellCentive is excited to be an integral part of this regional health care quality initiative.
